Chalet Mutzli
Wengen is located at the base of the Jungfrau region mountains ( Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau) on a sunny terrace overseeing the Lauterbrunnen valley. To access the nearly car free famous tourist oriented village one has to park the car in Lauterbrunnen and then take the train to climb over 1500 feet to reach Wengen at 4180 (feet above see level; 1274 meter).
From here your whole family can enjoy the beautiful ski, snowboard and hiking region.
Chalet Mutzli is a located about 10 minutes from the village center by foot on a sloping hill in a quiet location. It has been built in a traditional chalet wood style with most of it's windows and the large balcony facing south. A spectacular view of the Jungfrau and other mountains as well as the breathtaking view of the Lauterbrunnen valley with it's waterfalls is just one of the pleasures staying in this chalet.
Relax in the comfortable and rustic family and dinning room with it's famous view out the windows, or enjoy satelite TV and radio. Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator and dish washing machine. The kitchen also has access to the balcony. A compact bathroom with a shower is located next to the kitchen.
Upstairs you find two good size bedrooms, each with two beds, and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds.
